Physician’s Assistant
My interest in medicine developed when I was very young. I always wanted to be the helper, the babysitter, the caretaker. My strong desire to help others led me to my career as a Physician Assistant. I was born and raised in Corning, NY. Gannon University is where I earned my Bachelor Degree as a Physician Assistant and where I also met my husband Eric. In 2001, after graduation we moved to Arizona where I practiced in women’s health for 6 year. After our second son was born we wanted to move back “home” to raise our children in a small town close to family, which everyday has proven to be a great decision. So in 2008, as Dr. Chauhdry would say, I “fell out of the sky,” and joined his practice. It is wonderful to work in women’s health, where I can build a long term relationship with patients. It is a gift to educate young teens, to guide and care for women during pregnancy and the celebration of new life, and to maintain relationships with women as they transition into menopause. My rewarding career also allows me the flexibility and time to enjoy my husband and three children Owen (10), Griffin (8), and Mya (5). I look forward to continue practicing and playing an important role in my patients’ lives at Women’s Health of Western New York.
